Research Profile – Over 37 years of research experience specializing in Bioinformatics, Microbiome studies, Databases, and Soil Fungi (especially Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi) in the context of agricultural productivity and environmental change. Developed an AM Fungi amplicon barcoding tutorial in collaboration with the Pathogen and Microbiome Institute, Northern Arizona University, USA. Working as international collaborator at “Fondecyt Regular Project No. 1240186: Harnessing sympatric mycorrhizal microbiomes for conservation of Fitzroya cupressoides, an endangered native conifer in Chile” till 2028.
Completed four research projects and published 35 research articles in high-impact international journals (impact factors up to 17.7). Editorial contributions include three authored/edited books and a special issue of Symbiosis (Impact Factor: 3.1). latest release Agrifood Waste as Biofertilizer in 2026.
Delivered 38 invited lectures worldwide and convened five national and international conferences.
