The International Wolbachia Conference is a biannual meeting that brings together scientists from all continents and all stages of career development involved in the research of Wolbachia and other bacterial endosymbionts infecting arthropods and nematodes. It is characterised by a familiar atmosphere in which ca. 140 scientists live and work together for five days, with intensive exchange from morning to late night.
